Is the number of hate points I can use on behalf of an adversary limited to one per round? If I have five hate points, is there anything to prevent me from using all five at once (assuming all targets are legal and valid, of course).
Example:
The Orc Chieftan has 5 hate points. He also has the special ability Horrible Strength, which lets him do more damage per point of hate spent after a successful hit. So can I spend all five hate points on a single hit?
I can't find anything in the rules that limits the use of hate points to once per round, and the text for Horrible Strength just says "reduce hate by one to inflict more damage." But I don't read that to place a limit of one per round.

You can use hate as much per round as you want, but you can't drop all 5 points into the same ability. If the creature has horrible strength and hideous toughness and no quarter, you can spend, in the same round, 1 hate to block a hit, 1 hate to do more damage, and then 1 to coup de gras a hero when he drops, but you can't spend 5 points on horrible strength in a single blow.

And follow up question for bonus points: how often should adversaries use their special abilities? I've been adding special abilities to my sim, so I'm running into this question. For the ones I've implemented so far, here is what I've done:
Hideous Toughness: use if damage taken >= attribute level (that is, if it will produce it's maximum benefit)
Snake Like Speed: use if it will turn a hit into a miss
Horrible Strength: use 50% of the time
Savage Assault: use on every great or extraordinary success
(And on a side note, how long do abilities like Bewilder and Seize Victim last? The whole fight?)
