'We will send word when we may, and some of us may yet meet at times; but I fear that we shall not all be gathered together ever again.'

Yet even so, look to the green fields of RPGGeek and who knows...

No! This was sad news. This is such a great forum. Even if I haven't been writing lately I am lurking, and continue to use many of the ideas on the forum in my games. I am currently out travelling so I haven't got to read all the treads about this closing. But I surely hope someone saves all the great material on this forum and make it accessible for future games and gamers.

Goodbye all! May you have great experiences in Middle, and hopefully we'll meet again.

It’s been absolutly the best forum I have ever joined, and the only one I have ever logged on to on a daily basis.
Goodbye all. See you at the RPGeek, when I get around to register...
You have all been super helpful and its been great to have a place for both super knowledegeable scholars and number crushers and experienced Gamemasters. But above all, it’s been a place where the designers were lurking and giving us rulings and teasers...
I’ll miss this :(
One game to rule them all: TOR

Very sad news indeed. I have not posted much, but I have been following all the discussions, especially when I did not have time to play TOR myself.

Thank you all for this unique experience.

Hopefully see all of you at rpggeek!

I haven't been active here of late, but I'm sad to hear of the closure of this forum, so helpful in running The One Ring. Farewell to everyone here. Perhaps I'll see you on Reddit or Google Plus. Best wishes.

I registered at RPGGeek a few days ago, so I'll be seeing many of you over there.

Very sad to see these boards go. I have checked in here and read regularly (sometimes daily) for several years now, and sporadically before that. It has been such a useful, helpful, interesting, and friendly place.

Turns out, I already have an account at RPGGeek from some time in the distant past, so I will be joining everyone over there. I hope we can recapture some of the spirit of this place.
