Glorendil, on a more serious note, I'd like to post links to the four calculators you link in your sig in the "Links" section on the RPG Geek forum. May I do so?
(I'd pm you but cannot)

Oh well, since we are at it
There is the 20-pages-long house rule thread about the value of armour and proposed solutions
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1492
It was born after Glorelendil's simulator showed that armour was a liability in combat

Hi
I'd like to save also the thread "Shadow for killing innocuous orcs" that has given us a very good talk 2 months ago. I've already save it as 12 html pages on my local desktop computer but do you know if there a way / a tool that allow us to import it in a new RPGGeek thread ?

Only way I've seen others do it is copy /paste. I am copying everything into a Word file to make editing easier. But my process is essentially only manual. I'd guess there is a better way but it is outside my expertise.

I'm trying to download the whole TOR forum. If successful (that's a big if) I'll then zip up the files and provide a link and instructions on RPGGeek so that you can set it up on your own PCs to keep and reference when required.

On my side, i'm doing another way :
1) Save from Cubicle 7 forum
For each page :
Topic tools / Print view
Save as 1.html (then 2.html, 3.html ...) on my computer
2) Create new thread on RPGGeek
3) For each page that i saved
3.1) Open the page in the browser
3.2) Copy all the text of the page apart of the header and bottom that aren't useful
3.3) In RPGGeek thread, paste the text
3.4) For each post of the thread:
- remove the title (like "Re: Shadow for killing innocuous orcs")
- select the post header (starting with "Posted:", finishing with next "Re: ...") and put it in bold and larger font. Myself i do :
Posted: .........
4) Preview and correct / enhance
5) Submit

That would give a welcomed archive. Not easy to use and search but at least we loose nothing at all.

I want to thank all of you for your hard work in attempting to save our valuable resources and to offer us alternatives. I'm going to bookmark these links and hopefully, we can continue to support the game.

Let's firstly see though if it (a) works and (b) is a decent enough size to practically share with everyone before you canonise me!
