I'm trying to download the whole TOR forum. If successful (that's a big if) I'll then zip up the files and provide a link and instructions on RPGGeek so that you can set it up on your own PCs to keep and reference when required.
You, my friend, are a saint.
Saints are usually killed by thousands of arrows.
Can we try our Deadly Archery house-rules on Rich, and see how they work out? CAN WE?!?

Glorendil, on a more serious note, I'd like to post links to the four calculators you link in your sig in the "Links" section on the RPG Geek forum. May I do so?
(I'd pm you but cannot)

Sure.

Let's firstly see though if it (a) works and (b) is a decent enough size to practically share with everyone before you canonise me!
I'm pretty sure this will work. My expertise for knowing this is from watching hundreds of hours of Star Trek. It will come down to the last minute, and things will look really bleak in the final moments, but in the end the good guys will prevail, and Rich will use enough [insert technobabble term] to overcome any obstacles and save the day!

TOR is currently being discussed as "Role-playing game of the Week" over on RPGGeek.
Here's the link for anyone who wants to join the discussion:

Put the bows down. Rich is our friend. Save your arrows for the forces of Mordor.

In the meantime, I'll call Francesco (the pope, not Nepitello)

Update time: this download is definitely working however it is a big download - currently running at 1.35GB and has taken 17 hours. It appears to be downloading all the forum, not just TOR, although I don't know why as I thought I set the exceptions up to not do that!
Anyway, once it downloads fully I'll have a play with stripping out the things we don't need to see if I can get the size down - if lucky I may be able to get rid of about 25% (TOR is by far the largest forum so doubt it will be more). Then I'll zip up the content into multiple files and write up a guide to putting it all back together. I'll test this and then think about posting the guide on RGGeek. People can then contact me for the link should they want to create the forum/archive on their own PC. I don't want to put the link directly on a website in case it contravenes anything.
How's that all sound?

Once it's all finished, and that behemoth you're planning is working, can I try my Deadly Archery house-rules on you? Please?

Does anybody know how to find their way to this dedicated part of their forum? Each time I start out by going to RPGGeek, I can't find this particular part of their site.
If you put in "The One Ring", it takes you to
this page, which hasn't had an active comment for years.
Likewise there's other entries for the Slipcover version of the game, and numerous others for just this game (and none seem to be to this dedicated part of their forums).
The difficulty in finding stuff on their site might be a reason why it will be tough for some people to migrate over there.

The link on the first post of this thread takes you to the correct place but it is a bit difficult and quirky to find. I see you've posted over on RPGGeek and got some more detailed responses so glad you've found your way there (by paths that are seldon trodden)!
