I believe there is a New Distinctive Feature called Elf-Friend in Tales from the Wilderland.

Are there others in the Darkening of Mirkwood and Heart of the Wild?

There is friend-of-the-river-folk, if I remember correctly. But it is a bit different in that it only lasts for one year.
