Just like to say thanks for the cover art for Hobbit Tales.

My One Ring campaign has been on hiatus for over a year for a variety of reasons, but last week we resumed the game and to mark the occasion I printed some beer labels for bottles.

A bit work in a paint package allowed me to edit the 'T' from the 'Hobbit Tales' art, leaving me with perfect labels for the bottles...

'Hobbit Ales... from the Green Dragon Inn'.

Do hops grow in the Shire? I wonder as I would love to brew up some Hobbit Ales. Love the label idea.

I will take that as a seal of approval Jon....

Somebody who knows their brewing should come up with a list of beers/ales/stouts...with colorful descriptions...available in Eriador. Useful campaign material, I think.

I think this has Robin S.'s name on it. Right up his alley.

This gives me a character idea: a hobbit whose version of "Treasure Hunter" is a beer broker who sells to inns in the shire (and beyond) and he travels the world looking for new brews.

That sounds like my sort of research assignment. Norwich has more than a few real-ale pubs :D .
