Having a bounty of documents from MERP that I still use as a resource, plus the new stuff from TOR is certainly a management issue.

I have been using Word Docs and Microsoft OneNotes to manage it, but after watching the videos I bought into Realm Works and it looks like an excellent tool from just the short time I played with it last night.

Just as a stand alone tool for the LM its fantastic! But being able to reveal snippets during game play the players can review is great.

Especially when they implement the Cloud service and I can begin sharing info/recaps online for between game sessions if players wish to .

I was tempted till I spotted the additional annual cloud fee ($40 a year), which you need to if you want to share stuff with players over the internet.

Yeah I am not sure how it will work out for my group.

The $40 is not bad, like only $3.40 a month of you break it down. My group is worth it, but it will all hinge on whether that will want to buy the Player Client to access this info or not. It's not available now so I don't know how much that will be.

But you don't need the cloud at all to use Realm Works. You can work from your local machine and make backup copies of your database to use on different machines. Just have to be careful about revisions.

It's the organizational strengths and plot relationships that sold me. It's a hairball to keep track of

There will also be a free web portal for players to access campaign content.

I was part of the Beta and using my Mac. Of course using Parallels for Realmworks, works like a charm!

Just got started, finally, on deploying RW for my The One Ring pbp game. I thought it would be an onerous amount of work, but Ctrl-Q is your best friend, and the auto-linking is generates a lot of utility quickly. I'm just building out stub topics at the moment, but the potential is huge. I'm really loving this software.

I am new here and I have a question. Is there someone planning to use Realm Works from Wolflair?
This is Campaign Managment Software for GMs and is coming out this month.
http://www.wolflair.com/realmworks
Reviving part of the OP as I have a similar question for the dev team: with Realms Work Content Market under development, will C7 be selling content for this digital platform?

I will be using this digital campaign management software to prepare my first TOR campaign, and I wanted to know if this will be receiving any support/content in the future.

Just FYI C7 doesn't do anything digital for TOR/AiMe, except release PDFs of their physical books. All support for digital gaming is the result of fan efforts.

I have Realm Works but never used it for campaign management. It's very D&D specific when creating a new campaign and I've always found the task of unpicking all that before I even start to create content to be too onerous. If the tool were made easier for non-D&D users, I'd probably use it. As it stands, l don't find it worth the effort.
