The flooded passage leads to a much deeper set of caverns and was my rationale for where the cave troll came from... perhaps wandering through at a moment when the water level was low and getting trapped in the main bit of the 'Scar'. I also wanted to leave something unknown so that the players could decide whether they wanted to go back to investigate further... you could make a whole new adventure out of the unexplored deeper bits of the 'Scar'... one thing that would be in there though would be a great number of primitive cave burials made by the hillmen tribes who viewed the Scar as a sacred place in the dim and distant past.

This adventure is outstanding; you provide a great storyline, with lots of details and motivations that will make the characters feel like they are in Middle Earth - the whole point of this RPG! TOR format as well - excellent.
Too bad you are not in my city to game with. Haha.
cheers

Any more comments? I might make some corrections and re-post a final version. I know it's got the odd typo or three in it.

Hmm.. I read the first couple pages so far, let me see if I can finish it up quick.
Ok, well, so much for quick... but I'm done.

The adventure and meetup page linked is gone. Anyone have a copy of the adventure?

I've probably got one somewhere.
For a starter I can't recommend one more than Blood in the Water. I just used it to start a new game and it was excellent. A great way to have heroes introduce themselves and interact with locals, an investigation scene to get used to skills and AP's then a short journey with some tracking, two fights and several plot hooks that are great for linking into later adventures from Tales from Wilderland. You might need to adjust the fights according to the number of heroes but probably not.

I am also looking for some starter adventures and both of these sound perfect to my needs. Does anybody have a PDF copy of either Trouble at Eel Tarn or Blood in the Water. If so a copy would be appreciated.
Cheers, Ross

I've put a copy of Blood in the Water and Eel Tarn up on my Google Drive. Thanks to the authors of both these documents for providing these adventures to the TOR community.
