C7,

Certainly: Black for when rolling for Sauron

Nice, too:
Grey/granite for dwarves
Green/leafy for elves and hobbits

Oh god I hate to admit it but I'd buy this. Different dice for each playable culture.

Here's funny thing about the dice - so Francesco worked really hard to make sure the game both benefitted from the custom dice, but was completely playable with regular dice. "Can't make people buy funny dice" runs the conventional wisdom. "People hate funny dice" it says.

We can't keep TOR dice in stock, they sell so fast. And we're not talking small production runs here.

Can't make any promises on different dice colours, but it's certainly something that's been discussed.

You guys did an exceptional job in walking that fine line. The Tengwar and gandys are beautiful and add so much aesthetically to the game, all the while never really being necessary

I think so much is lost when a game's meta does not match the feeling it's trying to evoke. I remember that feeling of amazement when I first looked at those beautiful polyhedral dice in D&D. They just oozed arcana. Esoterica. Hermetic magic grounded in some pop-game blend of sacred geometry/Judaic Kabbalah. I don't think D&D would have ever reached its popularity without those dice.

I don't think it's peculiar at all that you guys are seeing such demand for the dice. It really gives the players something tangible to focus on that evokes the Tolkieny theme.

I'll may extra for Mithril dice, by the way. Or dice forged in Gondolin. Especially if they glow when my wife is getting near.
