@Edwardp The forum software shows messages in the outbox until they are read as for as I remember. They aren't stuck just unread.

Re: Tracking Combat Stance
I made stance cards for my players. They're 4-inch by 6-inch cards, tent-folded in the middle so they stand up with the same information on both sides. One card per stance: players just put the one for their chosen stance on top of the stack so it's visible.
The top line shows the stance name in big red type; next, in smaller type, is the action order and base Target Number; and beneath that, in even smaller type, are summaries of the stance's special action and the Escape Combat action. The Rearward Stance card also summarises the conditions for entering that stance.
(We do the same thing with roles for Journeys: one card per role, with details included, and just put the role you choose on top of the stack to indicate what you're doing. Very handy, and it's good to have the reference information right in front of the players and LM.)

We use the exact same setup (except that I made mine with detailed info on one side, and big-type titles and TNs for the side the GM sees).trystero wrote:I made stance cards for my players. I'll post them at some point (once I get them in a format that is better fit for consumption).
