New Virtue: Captain
Re: New Virtue: Captain
I never noticed you're not allowed to have more than one fellowship focus. That's interesting, because my players all have each other as FF, and it seemed to be an overly powerful source of Hope.

Re: New Virtue: Captain
So every one of your players has all the others as a Focus?
I can see where the text as written doesn't explicitly state you can only have a single other hero as a Focus, merely implying that.

Yep, they all have three fellowship focuses. Reading the text more carefully, it's clear that they're not supposed to.

Another one of those written English statements where the intent is not written clearly but nuanced ![Smile :-)](images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: New Virtue: Captain
Hehe. Yeah I think that would be a problem. There would be pretty much no instance where you couldn't immediately get back hope.
And no, I did not realize that there was a new calling called "Captain" coming out, but I think that's awesome!
Perhaps the Virtue would be better called "Faithful", or perhaps "Shepherd", "Bonded", "Great Friend", "Great Love", "Loyal". I think there are many names that could work.
In the end, I would actually prefer it be a generic virtue, so anyone could take it. Mostly because i would not want to unbalance any specific Culture by giving them another Virtue that others could not take.

"Bromancer"
The adversary special ability would be "Necbromancer"
Ok ok I'll stop.

It was crystal clear to me on the first read - but then, I speak English as my primary language.Hermes Serpent wrote:Another one of those written English statements where the intent is not written clearly but nuanced
You do have to read through the column break, tho - the explicit one other...
I've also allowed players to pick NPC's as Fellowship foci when the mission is to protect them; this violates that same paragraph.AB 81 RtCol wrote:Every player is free to indicate one companion of his choice as his focus.
