Does that mean he was knocked unconscious in one hit? I just want to make sure I'm understanding the rules correctly. Thanks!A Poisoned character is considered to be Wounded. Thus, if an already Poisoned character is wounded once, he falls unconscious as if Wounded twice (likewise, a Wounded character falls unconscious when Poisoned).
Wounded and Poisoned
Wounded and Poisoned
Last session our hobbit got hit with a poisoned orc blade. It wounded him and poisoned him in the same hit (what bad luck!). In the Adventurer's Book it says
I smashed down the light and dared Valinor
I smashed down the light, revenge will be mine
I smashed down the light, revenge will be mine
Re: Wounded and Poisoned
This is my interpretation as well.
Poisoned weapons are really nasty.

Re: Wounded and Poisoned
I'd interpret it to mean he also needs a healer's attention in VERY short order, unless the poison is very short duration.
Re: Wounded and Poisoned
Indeed. Lucky for him, he had only taken 3 damage and we have a woodman with poison remedies. So he was back on his feat in no time.aramis wrote:I'd interpret it to mean he also needs a healer's attention in VERY short order, unless the poison is very short duration.
