Thanks!

Now I just need to do up the rest of the cultures, firm up the Good/Bad charts and write out three or four highly detailed examples.. :)

I agree with Rich here. Looking forward to seeing the finished version, Zedturtle.

I'm about done with page 3, I was trying to keep it at four pages (so that it could be tucked into another book easily) but it's looking more like six pages with the examples.

Incidentally, if anyone has any ideas what holdings for elves of mirkwood look like, I'm all ears.

Here's the long awaited first draft of page 3:

I also made some minor changes and cleanup on the first two pages. I will put everything up as a PDF when it's done, but I'm not there yet, especially since I will have to outline the headings (due to font restrictions).

Thoughts, ideas, criticisms, catching of typos, all are appreciated!

Hmmm. Perhaps the Mirkwood Elves would use various combiniations of ground dwellings and talans (telain?) such as the Elves of Lorien use. After all, they share similar history and backgrounds. The Elves of the deep woods might use tree-dwellkings, while the raftmen of Mrkwood might utilize huts or cottages.

Awesome stuff! I was thinking more about what the elves produce for trade goods, hopefully what I came up with is not too controversial.

Elves might have secluded groves they maintain and keep clean of corruption. There wouldn't be residents per se, but other elves would know of the groves and visit them.

Or gardens?

Just an idea.

Fine cloths made from harvested Spider-silk; carved wooden figurines, implements, bowls, cups, etc.; apples and other fruits from the forest; mushrooms and truffles. In better times they might have mined ores from the Mountains of Mirkwood.
