ah, just realised the PC sheet aren't repeatable fields, you've hard coded 4 lines for weapon stats which is why the attributes and hence macros work fine for the PC sheet - my bad.
by inspecting the adversary sheet I was filling in, all of the repeatable field names are the same for each row (they aren't uniquely referenced in any way but I don't really understand the underlying code, so that could be expected?
posted on the roll20 board and someone else commented that perhaps repeatable field values aren't able to be referenced outside of the elements of the field set, but the macro behind the die roller on the fieldset is part of fieldset elements - right?
the DnD 4th ed sheet has repeatable field sets for powers that contain a "roll" button and they seem to work, although again, I don't understand enough of the underlying code of the sheet to understand why...

...duh... just seen this.
does this work? it would need to reference the repeating_npc-weapon-skills _0_npc_weapon_skill_rating for the actual roll though?
while I'm on the subject - is the adversary's weary attribute value calculated from it's hate score (i.e. normal while hate > 0)? ...that''s also used in the macro in the sheet...

Yes, that works. The reason it won't work for the PC sheet is because it has auto-calculated encumbrance, and you can't do that with repeatable fields.

Nice.
So do you know if once your new sheet is loaded my campaign picks it up automatically or if I need to reload it some how?
I'm looking forward to giving it another test run, it's working pretty sweet already!

It'll pick it up automatically.

Yep, its arrived!
PC skills favoured buttons are working a treat but the weapon skill ones still seem to stick to favoured always once they've been pressed (no toggle) - you can untick the button by favoured line under skill remains, not sure if that was something you thought you'd sorted in the lastest version or if it was just the change to the way skills can be favoured.
Armour value on main sheet still seems to have issues until an attribute is manually created, then only values changed via the attribute directly, rather than on the main sheet, is reflected in the associated macro (but any changes directly to the attribute
is reflected back into the main sheet, so its an easy work around to make that macro function)
repeatable fields on adversary sheet still having the same issues, obviously, as you created your updated version prior to that fix being known... do you reckon you'll find the time to update with @{selected|repeating_npc-weapon-skills_0_npc_weapon_skill_name} at some point?
Thanks for all the effort though, my group will be putting it to use tomorrow for a trial session using some roll20 elements on line ...even though we will all be in the same room!

so, session was great and character sheets and associated macros from the wiki worked a treat, the above featurettes not withstanding - seems the whole armour section of the character sheet doesn't save (parry, damage, shield, head-gear, etc) and values don't seem to persist until the attributes have been manually created for each field on the main sheet
but overall the character sheet for PCs is working a treat
thanks

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on. I've filed a bug, but I haven't heard anything yet.
