When I roll a Tengwar on an attack with a Favourite Weapon..

Hi Delazar:

This is from the Adventurer's Book, page 160. I believe it answers your question:

On a success, the target loses Endurance points equal to the damage rating of the weapon used.

On a great success, the target loses Endurance points equal to the damage rating of the weapon PLUS the Damage rating of the attacking hero.

On an extraordinary success, the target loses a number of Endurance points equal to the damage rating of the weapon PLUS double the Damage rating of the attacking hero.

And on page 79...

Usually, a character’s Damage rating is equal to his basic Body score, both for attacks made with a close combat weapon or a ranged weapon.

Per the Rules as Written, not unless you have a virtue or cultural blessing that allows it.

It's a not uncommon house rule, tho.

Ok, I see... so even if I roll three Tengwar, it's still "only" double Damage Rating... thanks!

Fierce Shot (bows use Favored Body for Ranged Damage Bonus)

Folk of the Dusk can be misinterpreted that way easily.

Ok, then I'm definitely not house-ruling it, otherwise I'd be invalidating an existing Virtue.
