That's what I tried to tell the cop who pulled me over going 72 in a 35 zone. In Manhattan.

You're confusing game rules with real life laws. That's where you're going wrong. Cut down on the GTA and you should be okay.

In court I made him turn purple and sputter with fury, while the judge choked back a laugh. So it was worth the fine. And the points. And the day in court.

I did at the time. Well (full disclosure on the story) I lived in Greenwich, where I worked, but had a place in the city, so in the wee hours I would drive out to my house/office. So it happened on the West Side Highway, northbound, at 6:00 AM. It wasn't exactly drag racing down Broadway against oncoming traffic during rush hour with supermodels in the backseat snorting coke.

At least, not in that particular incident.

EDIT: Personal record for Upper West Side to driveway in Greenwich: 23 minutes.
