I really like the description of the Dead Woods and Gorcrow. (I'd like to know more about who Gorcrow "was" and what his motivations, etc. are.)
A dozen acres isn't very much area, though.

Re: The Restless Dead
You are right Elfcrusher, the Dead Woods is one small area they must traverse that is unhallowed where the Restless Ones may rise up.
It is part of a much larger area, a hidden valley I situated in the Iron Hills area thats many miles across of blighted lands they must trek through in a series of sub-adventures to get to the main quest, The Bell Tower Adventure.
I have it all mapped and fleshed out and will be glad to eventually share it all in it's entirety as it might have some useful adventure ideas for other LM's to use.
As for The Gorcrow Terror (Gorcrow), I have gleaned his template from my notes. I needed a scary, powerful but limited nemesis just for this campaign, thus Gorcrow was born.
You will find a pdf of him below for your pleasure, and for feedback, and opportunity from the TOR community to moderate my insanity! If possible
Please disregard the meandering sometimes repetitive text, it is not polished and these are my sometimes-sketchy campaign notes, though I have embellished here and there to round out the info for you. I shall clean it up better before presenting him to the TOR community at a later date.
I've included First-Encounter scenarios I will use for my game. The first encounter notes are just there to remind me and I play loosely off of them, and I left them to give a feeling of how I will play him.
SPOILER ALERT: For my players who happen across this, I know they are good players and will avoid abuse of this document, thanks guys! As for other things gleaned from these posts, thats ok, a little foreshadowing is always fun!

Finally, as for the graphic of Gorcrow I cannot claim any rights to it except the concept, it is a composite of bits of graphics gleaned from the web and cobbled together in Photoshop, a skexis here, an angel there, a mage body, a few crows, baleful lighting and voila!
Enjoy
