I prefer hardcover. I had bad experiences with the bindings on the softcovers. I loved Heart of the Wild in hardcover. Hardcover all the way for me. Unless we're talking about something really small like the Lake-town Sourcebook -- the format on that was fine.

That was a bad batch as I recall. The set I bought a couple months ago, even though not under heavy use, isn't showing any signs of coming apart. I just think a bigger book looks better in HC then a slim one.

Oh yeah. Works for me. ;)

Ditto for hardcover. I prefer it as both a collector & for the durability, & will happily hand over my coppers.
