Thanks Andy, I've been getting more and more jittery with it the close it gets to the end of this week lol. I was hoping you'd get it to us by now. I'll send Nick an email.

Andrew, for clarification, would that be this coming Wednesday (July 23) or next week Wednesday (July 30)?

Tnanks in advance.

Thanx, Andrew! I hope you don't mind, but I've passed the publication date over to Amazon.com where it was orignally listed for a 2012 release!

@timb You may not be aware that the books are printed in China and are then transported across the Pacific, customs cleared for the US and thence to the C7 US fullfilment warehouse, (the US market is much larger for C7 than Europe I guess). After that the European stock is transhipped (probably by air?) to the UK for distribution in Europe. The distribution orders for US stores go out, I suspect, at the same time as pre-orders to the US buyers. European pre-orders go out once the stock has hit the UK. You may also not be aware that there was a snafu a few months back whereby C7 had to change printers which led to a delay of about 4-6 weeks in getting the books out.

Hermes,
You may not have noticed but I've been here from the start of the TOR line, I've done every pre-order. I am fully aware of the process and have never been a fan of it. I'm not going to go into detail my concern in a public forum, I've sent it through to who Andrew suggested. Thanks for your comments, but I am never going to be a fan of a British company creating something I consider a British product but catering for an American audience first, end of.

The entire music industry must send you into conniptions, then.

Not really, I have no interest in the music industry Elfcrusher.
What I have said is nothing new, I've said it before. A few of you were here when I have said it before. I don't expect much sympathy from the Americans on here, but if this was something as iconic as Marvel/DC made stuff hitting UK shores weeks before you, I know I'd see the same from them. That's by the by. I'm more frustrated at the moment because the delay means issues for me safely receiving it. I just wish we didn't have this going to USA first which delays it getting to me in the UK. I understand the cost-cutting ramifications for C7, but just this one time I wish we could have done without it.

I'm still waiting for my Heroes of the Solar System pre-order despite the book having been in UK shops for two weeks now. Apparently the shop stock was sent just before the UK pre-orders were due to be sent. There were also problems with the Rocket Age core book pre-orders. I'm not holding out much hope for my Darkening of Mirkwood pre-order...or Fourth and Fifth Doctor Sourcebooks for that matter.
