They are. And that's about the only decent thing I can say about them after the disgraceful behaviour of them with regard to the Lone Wolf gamebook deal. People are still waiting for their orders to be fulfilled or their money back.
Their Traveller edition is rather popular. And the core rules for it are pretty darned good. (And Gareth Hanrahan did write them. Oh, and I'm in the credits list for the MGT core.)

They do produce some quite good products... some real stinkers, too.

Let's get back on topic, chaps - There are many rpg companies based in the UK. Some of which we as individuals rate, some of which we don't. That's not a discussion to have here.

Okay, Jon. Quite disappointed I haven't received my copy of DoM yet. I expect it'll arrive next week. As a pre-orderer I was hoping to receive BEFORE customers were able to walk into their local Bricks and Mortar store but oh well. According to my account orders I ordered it on the 21st Jan. I'm aware of the delays caused but hopefully this wont be much of a problem in the future. I love The One Ring and its fresh prospective on Middle Earth. At least with the Pre-Order we have access to the PDF copy, otherwise a 27 week (over 6 month) delay in pre-order to having it physically in hand would be completely unacceptable. Remember, unlike amazon (who charge you only when they post it) (or my personal favourite Infinity Games), Cubicle 7 have had my 30 quid since Jan and it's been gathering interest.
We'll see how long the Revised Core book and Rivendell take to ship :/

I am also still waiting for my copy (Denmark)... I don't want to sound like another dissatisfied customer, but it is a long wait.
I would like to propose an improvement, that would make us feel much more secure, while we are waiting.

Please add a link on the status of our orders where we can see tracking information, if the book has been shipped. And update the status on "My account" to state not only "Paid" but also: Shipped, when that is the case.

Packages get lost from time to time, and all I'm thinking is that mine is lost :(

Fingers crossed for a Monday delivery!!

If you have any concerns about your order, please email info@cubicle7.co.uk that's the best and fastest route to get answers about your particular order - neither me nor Andrew have the same access to that information. We can and do hunt down that information, since it matters, but Nick in our office has direct access to the tracking information we receive from our warehouses and can help you out.

If you do have a query for our forums about a delivery please post in the customer service area where we can see it more easily and address it more quickly - we want to get you connected with your books or answers as soon as we can.

Now:
I agree that the delay on Darkening was an unacceptable one. With the printing problems, a longer than usual ship journey, the entire shipment being x rayed at US customs, then the roof of the UK warehouse collapsing this has been quite the cursed book.

We're also updating some of our communications about pre-orders to make it clear what a pre-order offers. Being the run up to GenCon we haven't been able to complete that task yet, but we are working on it so that we can reduce disappointment over any misunderstanding about when you can expect a pre-ordered title relative to retailers.

With specific reference to Indur's delivery - copies were arriving with UK customers at the end of last week, so it shouldn't be too far from you now, bit it will take that little bit longer to reach a Denmark address.

Destrier - I'm not sure where you're located so that makes it hard to give you any specific information. Drop Nick a line with your address and order number and he should be able to help.

Thanks, Jon. I'm in Ireland so I expect I'll receive my copy next week. I'm not unduly worried since I have always received orders from Cubicle 7. And I didn't intend my previous post to sound THAT annoyed. lol. I'm a big fan of TOR and am fully supportive, I save my vehemence for Decipher's handling of the licence. I have already pre-ordered the Revised Core and Rivendell from you as I'm a big believer in supporting the company directly where feasible. As a long time rpg-er in the world of Middle Earth (I owned 1st Edition MERP back in the early eighties) I'm absolutely loving Francesco's SUBTLE portayal. Your art style is very appropriate and it's good to see people do their research into the cultures, styles, myths and legends that inspired Tolkien himself (NO SCOTTISH DWARVES), lol.
If I have any problems with the order, Jon, I'll email. Thanks Keep up the great work.

Jon, many thanks for the response. I really appreciate your effort to keep us informed. I'll write to customer service if I don't get the book during this week.
Just bring on some more stuff for us to buy... Already bought Rivendell :)

Cheers

Can I assume that the Netherlands is similar to Denmark as far as projected arrivals are concerned?

Thanks Jon! I'm going to run Secrets Buried for my group in two weeks, excited to know I can use the book instead of the pdf.
