Depends how it's implemented. Played cleverly the LM could fool the players into believing the NPC.

Passages like that demonstrate the beauty, awe, mystery, power, magic, wonder of playing a high elf, and the problems inherent in trying to 'stat' them out. Of course, Fingolfin was no "ordinary" high elf (if such a thing exists), but if I had the right player, and the right group, I would simply allow stuff like that as an LM, if I knew I could trust the player with the proper restraint and judgment.
