The frying pans were brilliant.
As for High Elves and Rangers, I think that beginning High Elves and Rangers should be "better" than beginning characters of other cultures. The "problem" is not a problem at all if such characters are added to a group of experienced characters. Likewise players of some games, Stormbringer comes to my mind, will be used to a wide diversity of power and ability between characters.

The bit about the frying pans that is. The preview was good too, I guess.
I look forward to seeing the full write ups and am among those who have been eagerly awaiting the Rangers of the North to start patrolling Wilderland!
I'm also not especially concerned with balance issues, but I don't mind C7 giving it some consideration for the sake of those that are.
