Ok, here is the latest version of Delving.

Notes:
- Many people have given me good ideas and feedback, but zedturtle in particular should be considered a co-author. (If he wants his name associated with this...)
- The formatting sucks and is inconsistent. Sorry.
- I omitted Lanterns as a light source because I haven't yet come up with a satisfactory...and simple...way to make them work with the torch rules. But it's very much a to-do item.
- I have lots of ideas and examples for the different sorts of challenges, e.g. for "Do Not Disturb", "Dreadful Gaps", etc. But enumerating them inside the rules made it too lengthy, so eventually I will add an appendix with a treasure trove of specific challenges for LMs to use.
- I wanted to include a sample adventure using these rules, but that will also have to wait

I will proudly attach my name to this: all the good stuff is his, all the bad stuff is mine.

Did anyone playtested the latest incarnation of Delving?

I'd like to know how easy it is to implement for the LM and how much the players had fun with it in a real life... roleplaying context.

Thanks!

Rocmistro has threatened ^H^H^H promised to throw us through a Delve in his PbP game but I'd be very interested in any other play testing or feedback that anyone has for us.

Be patient, Zed. It's coming :-) It shall be the grand finale to Book 1 of my campaign.

I little review here would be great Roc to see how it went. I'm keen to see the final version of these rules as they were an excellent idea when first raised, more so now.
