"Runes of Victory (which score an automatic hit on both an Eye and a Gandalf rune)..."

Yikes! That is powerful...I like it!

I know the system is just a suggestion on how to include magic items in your campaign and that they should be rare, but the system seems to make them too rare. But , I will withhold full judgment until I see the rules in action.

There are times that I believe that the system as written assumes more lairs with treasure than most GMs include in their games (mostly because of Standing costs).

Or you could run a good business, using the Holding rules in Darkening of Mirkwood. That generates Treasure Points. :)

Depends on whether Nick has a hot date that night. And also where in the queue you are.

Usually C7 puts their PDFs up on DriveThruRPG when they become available for preorder. I have always received my PDF copies of C7 games through DriveThru, so I expect tomorrow will be the same.

Maybe C7 should bring on a couple of temps for the surge in business tomorrow...

What an exciting announcement and time for The One Ring! Everything in this book sounds absolutely amazing. The game is maturing wonderfully and growing stronger and stronger with each new release! Rivendell will further solidify this game's status as a true masterpiece in roleplaying.

Agreed. And the more I think about it, the more I conclude that Francesco's solution to the magic item "problem" is pure genius.

P.S. And by my reckoning it is now officially "tomorrow" in the UK.
