I'm unfortunately still waiting for my FLGS to get my preorder(and prepaid). In the future, I will definitely be ordering direct, even with potential shipping costs to the US

In most cases C7 ship to the States from the printer and warehouse there before shipping a portion to the UK and RotW so by ordering direct from C7 you'd probably get the book earlier than me in the UK. See Rivendell posts for examples.
