Don't let me slow you down on anything. A couple of friends have suggested that I start up my AP thread so if I do that then it will likely keep me occupied.

Roc, what do you think about me creating a character with which to test out some of my Lores? Which would you find acceptable and from what kind of character?

Lesser Istari, of course. :-)

The new Eye of Mordor rules make that feasible. Don't attract too much attention!

I'm at school and thus away from my books; otherwise I would quote from the Essay on the Istari.

Oh, wait... I have the internet here:
but of those that came to the North of Middle-earth, where there was most hope (because of the remnant of the DĂșnedain and of the Eldar that abode there), the chiefs were five.
Chiefs have underlyings. A Chief with no underlyings is no chief at all. Right?

Ok, I've decided to commit to this. The site for this will be RPOL.net

I've set up the basic structure and will be taking "applications" over the next couple days and fleshing out the site. Let me know if you are interested.

As noted before, this will be consistently paced game (ie, fast) and is for more experienced TOR Players. Not saying that to dissuade anyone, just looking to calibrate expectations appropriately.

That's always been my interpretation.

Roc: application submitted. Psyched for this.

I don't think I fit the bill for this particular campaign, but if anyone is looking for PbP players in the future and wouldn't mind a novice (although I've read all the rules multiple times and have tested out many of them on my own to get a feel for how they work), I'd definitely be interested. Due to real life complications (small children, just moved to a new state, book overdue to publisher), I don't see starting up a game in the near future that meets in person.

And don't forget to tell us how your campaign goes!

Hello

Are applications still possible for this campaign ? I am a relatively experienced TOR Loremaster eager to sit on the side of players for a change, I'd love to join if still possible. English is not my mothertongue, but then not every one in Middle Earth speaks perfect Westron !

I'm considering playing :
- A Scholar, Man of the Lake
or
- A Scholar, Sylvan Elf
