To be clear there were two updates - one which added the maps as separate PDFs, and we sent out a message to customers to let them know that was there.

We then yesterday updated again, with a file called "Eastern Eriador Players Map update.PDF" which is the one available now. No notification was sent for that one.

This is the correct map - it still has Carn Dum, The Grey Waste, Rivendell, The Last Bridge, Weathertop, MIdgewater Marshes, Bree, Brandywine Bridge, Old Forest,Caradhras and Moria marked on it, as these are considered common (enough) knowledge places to be included on a player's map. The specific adventure locations appeared on the earlier in correct version which is no longer available.

Here's what it looks like (a bit small, but if you just need to compare to what you have, it works):

Hi Jon. I only see "Eastern_Eriador_Players_Map.pdf" in my library at RPGNow/DriveThruRPG. I don't see "Eastern Eriador Players Map update.PDF"

Just curious: Why did the map lettering change from red in the core set to white?

Me too. Still the "old (wrong) maps" in my Drive Thru Libary :?

My RPGNow library only has Eastern_Eriador_Loremasters_Map.pdf which is the "old" map.

While we're all pig-piling on the map discussion, one additional request: can the colour of the labels be changed for the Players' Map? The white lettering looks great against the coloured regions on the Loremaster's Map, but I find it much harder to read on the Players' version.

Not a problem if the answer is "no", but now seemed like the moment to ask.

Any chance of a hex-gridded version of the player's map? It makes life easier for some of us...

No comment on Buckland and Sarn Ford being Daunting, Shadow regions? Does this mean there'll be no revision on the Rivendell maps before they go off to print?
Valarian wrote:On the Barrow Downs area, the shading (Daunting, Shadow Lands) covers Buckland (sliver of land between the river and the old forest) and also extends over Sarn Ford (an area protected by the Rangers). Is this intentional, and will be revised at a later date when the Shire gets covered in more detail, or just over-enthusiasm with the highlighter?
Personally, I'll be shrinking the Barrow Downs area for my games - extending the Lonelands (Moderate, Wild Lands) across to the river for the Sarn Ford area, and extending the Bree-land section (Easy, Free Lands) down parallel with the Old Forest trees to meet the river to cover Buckland.

I have logged onto RPGNow a couple times and checked my library but neither Eastern Eriador map is updated. Am I missing something I need to do?

I've done exactly the same things to my copies of the maps.

When I update the Journeyometer I will make those adjustments an option.

I have the same issue with the player map at RPGNow, it's not updated there.
