I have the same issue with the player map at RPGNow, it's not updated there.
I hope they correct the mistakes within the Player and Loremaster map. The Barrow-Down-Sarn Ford- Buckland Issue (in the LM Map) and the Location names (in the Player Map).

Maybe thats the reason why we`ve heard nothing offical about it since Friday. And work is still in progress. :)

It looks like the update didn't reach everyone. I have no idea why, but I've made another update and sent out a notification email this time, as well as updating the file for all previous purchasers. Hopefully this will fix it. The RpgNow system almost always hangs when I send out an update email, which makes me suspicious. Given that Rivendell is a Silver Seller on Drivethru that's a whole lot of customers getting an email, so perhaps the system gets exhausted!

Let me know if you get the email and the corrected Player's Map.

I am up very early this morning (3:45am in AZ, US) and I got the update of the player's map. The previous update from 7-24 was still the other Player's Map and I was wondering what the change was because I didn't see any difference. So, the system definitely registered an update, but the file was still the old one.

To be clear, I got your email and the updated map today! Everything is good.

First update did not change the Player's Map for me, but the second did the trick. Thank you very much!

... Still not sure either of the maps are as I'd like them to be, sorry.

If we're striving for perfection, then:

Player's Map
Using that white text is quite jarring when compared to the softer red used on the Wilderland Map

Loremaster's Map
1) Should Sarn Ford and the area just to the east and northeast of it really be Daunting terrain and a Shadowland? I would think Moderate and Wild Lands would be more appropriate

2) Should the Old Forest be a Shadowland? I would think that this should be a Wild Land instead.

3) Should Buckland be both Daunting terrain and a Shadowland? I know those Bucklanders are odd folk, living on the wrong side of the Brandywine and all, but surely they aren't that bad? ;) ... Seems to me, such an area should be Easy terrain and Free Lands.

... I've updated my copies to include the above along with a label for Sarn Ford and, in my humble opinion, they look far better. Jon/Andrew, I can email them to you in order to illustrate what I mean above, but more clearly. A picture paints a thousand words...

Because of the Old Willow I could see the argument for Shadowland. But I'd believe either.

I would make that a Blighted Place within the forest not the whole of the forest as a Shadowland. I seem to recall that Hobbits from Buckland do venture into the area, although not regularly, which would seem more akin to it being a Wild Land rather than a Shadowland. But, yeah, could see the logic either way and could be easy to convince that it is a Shadowland!
