Re: Buying feat dices
Buy all your players a copy of Hobbit Tales for birthday, name day, Christmas, Hannukah, Eid-al-Fitr or whichever gift-giving celebration you use. They'll all have a feat die to use and C7 will be happy as clams.
Some TOR Information on my G+ Drive.

Well, I can have a set... but it's an expensive way to get 4 dices ![Laughing ](images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

The cheap way is to print off a dodecagon template and add some nice numbers and characters from that font given as one of the TOR resources from Jon Hodgson.
Then photocopy it and keep on cutting and glueing until you are happy enough with the result.
There is at least one company that sells blank d12 (The Dice Shop I think) and these are about £0.50 each.
How do you feel about painting your own runes on? they seem to come in three or four colours if that's enough of an incentive!

There are lots of free dodecahedron models available for SketchUp. I just started playing with one, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to put negative extruded text onto the surfaces. If I make progress I'll let you know.

I'd try to Inspire them. But then, we play on Roll20, so our dice are virtual, but on the upside, you get as many as you want.Corvo wrote:Ok.
Now let see if can Persuade my players to buy the sets...
or maybe I should use Awe?

Re: Buying feat dices
The cheapest solution is to just use normal d12s. Count 1 through 10 normally. 11 is the Eye and 12 is the G-rune (or vice versa).

Of course, I'm still hoping for C7 to release a series of dice sets with a different color combination for each playable culture, plus one more for Servants of Shadow.

Re: Buying feat dices
With some friends we bought 3 Chessex Pound-o-Dice, a random 100 dice bag. At least 3 special d12 dice were in the package. They were totally suited for TOR.
I made an alternative TOR dice set using others special d6 from the Pound-o-Dice.
I don't know if you can buy those dice direct from Cheesex.
That's my story.

Recreatividad is my blog in spanish, I write about roleplaying games, specially The One Ring, Mouse Guard, Diaspora and Prince Valiant. You can find custom characters sheets there.

This is what we are doing right now. It's just that my players keep forgetting that "11 is zero" thingOtaku-sempai wrote:The cheapest solution is to just use normal d12s. Count 1 through 10 normally. 11 is the Eye and 12 is the G-rune (or vice versa).
