Agree with Mercushio 99.9%. My only nit is about the relative light of a bonfire; a big fire actually gives off a lot of light at close range. But it's a flickering, eerie, inconsistent light. So I would rule that a bonfire works if your backs are to it and you're right next to it. So close that it's both difficult and dangerous to fight properly ("Severely Hindered", no Rearward stance possible, no Knockback possible unless you're willing to fall in the fire). So close that very large opponents, or opponents with Great Leap, might knock you in.
