Combining my attempt at humor with on of Rocmistro's suggestions: "Awesome Presence".
(But in reality I think Intimidate Foe should simply be usable during Volley Phase without requiring an extra virtue/mastery).

Daunt Foe - might be the best bet - (opening intimidate foe roll)
Or Overawe Enemy.
Something like that.

Personally I lean toward nomenclature that suggests a quality of the hero using Intimidate Foe, rather than a new ability with a different name.

... I'd just houserule Intimidate Foe stating that it could be used during Opening Volley(s). Maybe also have it only be possible if the Valour of the character is 4 or more and/or make the TN 12 + Attribute Level (ie, slightly harder to pull off due to you being at range).

That solves it for me.

Yeah, I think I'll go with that too with the higher TN.

Well I was agreeing was just giving it a catchy name so folk don't get confused.
Daunt Foe seems to do that - see Rich's rules for details

Yeah, Daunt Foe and TN 12+AL works for me. The Valour requirement I'm a bit leery on; that would tend to make it a cyclic thing where the only time it gets used is when it's super-effective. I like some long-shots on occasion; where someone tries with only 1 or 2 dice and gets a great or extraordinary result.
