Looking for a Game to join...

Post by William » Sat Aug 30, 2014 3:20 pm

Hi. I've been on this forum a bit...and, is anyone playing in the North Atlanta, Roswell, Marietta area of Georgia? I would love to join a game as a player if possible. I've played TOR a bit, and made a Woodmen player-hero though not developed in a sense of the word. Tried play by post once, and I liked the experience. But, the game fizzled out. Huge Tolkien fan, and a respectable type when it comes to canon. Yeah...that's it.

Best regards,
Scott

Commitment from a bunch of players for a PbP or PbF game is tough. I've found that they can fizzle very easily although some here have kept games going for a decent stretch.

I'm not aware of any groups specifically doing FTF gaming of the One Ring in your area, but I have noticed a fair few games being run via G+ over Hangouts, via Roll20 and Skype as well as Fantasy Grounds in EST and CST areas. So if you are up for some gaming through those media then you could look at various sources for games/players there if no-one pipes up here.
Some TOR Information on my G+ Drive.

We just started a game on Fantasy Grounds doing the Tales from Wilderland campaign. Thursday nights 9-11 PM. Send me a message if you are interested.
