Adversaries and Zero Endurance

Post by Heilemann » Sun Aug 31, 2014 12:07 pm

So as I understand the RAW, adversaries are knocked out, not killed, when they reach zero endurance (barring any special abilities).

How do you deal with the fact that the orc band is still alive, albeit unconscious when the fight is over? What would happen if the players decide to kill all of them as they lay there? What if they're not orcs, but bandits? Corruption tests?

The question has been addressed before (and recently). I don't think that delivering a coup de grace on an Orc (or Orcs) should be viewed negatively unless the character is taking obvious delight in the act. Opponents who plead for mercy should generally receive it; but that can vary by culture, individual and by specific circumstances.

Doh! I remembered having thought about it recently, but completely forgot that I'd already asked it. Apologies; busy days these.
