I am eagerly awaiting your "final" version of this adventure. I trust you will let us know when it is available online.

Absolutely. I'm trying to get everything prettified, and trying to adjust some things that have come up in playtests. Soon!

Excellent! It's worth mentioning that the "final" version of the adventure isn't going to be substantially different than the current version, it will just have more explanations and options. Also, I'm going to draw some inspiration from James' adventure that he just posted, to make it more consistent with what has come before.

I love that gamers can lose most of their party, re-roll new toons, and still have fun playing.

Not necessarily... Matt did say he'll be introducing the game to new players; seems to me like he GMs his campaign so that when PCs die so too do their players. That should get you invested in your character!

Matt REALLY deserves the black and red dice set for evil LMs...

I'm just going to say that I'm really trying to be running Theft at GenCon and DragonCon next year, and I guarantee a 99.99% survival rate for my players.

Lol. Evil LM… I guess I should explain a bit.
It is very difficult for PC to die (too difficult some say) in TOR mechanics, but it happens. Three PCs died in Dalelands fighting family of trolls instead waiting for reinforcements from Dale last year. However, this time is different. This time it was death of two NPCs as a result of hazards and not so good dice rolls.
Our Barding Maiden (who was married to another Barding Hero) and Woodman Hero became NPCs in Kinstrife shortly after leaving House of Beorn. Players didn't have time for RPG anymore. That Woodman died shortly after he left the Fellowship, from an arrow in the back in the hands of bandit he “tortured” back in “Stewed Hobbit”. That year this outlaw was scouting for Valter the Bloody. Death of Woodman NPC was the reason his Beorning friend, new Player, decided to go after murderer and joined on the west bank Barding PC that was at this time perusing Oderic alone. Together they punished Valter’s scout and discover plans of the Bandits. Long story short they managed to cheat Valter and free Oderic whom they befriended. At this point Fellowhip was Barding husband (NPC wife stayed in Stonyford feeling sick), Beorning and Oderic. The final battle of Old Ford had almost half a thousand warriors, mostly riders in Valter’s army against hundred defenders from the region without Beorn reinforcement until last minute. Both PCs survived the battle. Oderic didn’t which was another blow for the party, especially Barding Knight whom Oderic befriended. In our back story, Oderic parents died in caravan from Dale to Bree when he was a child. They were hoping to try Oderic's chances at the Carroc after the battle. NPc Barding wife is pregnant and will stay for winter in Stonyford to give birth. That’s why only two PC are still playing.
Back to the topic. This new adventure comes in handy because the party is staying in the Village and it is a great way to start a few more players and introduce the system to them with adventuring phase on the horizon

So I'm revisiting everything, and it's starting to bother me a bit that Rathwulf's tolerance goes up for females... it's supposed to represent a sort of vulnerability in Rathwulf, but maybe I should take it out/change it... I don't want people getting the wrong idea.
Thoughts?
