Zed, just to let you know I'm almost done translating your adventure in french for my own use (I intend to use it with my two kids who are fairly new to the game and RPG in general). I'll let you know how it goes once we play it, but I really enjoyed its pedagogical approach and simple but effective plot.
I know you have given all kinds of permissions, but would that be OK if I published my translated version on french forums / resource sites , with appropriate credits of course ?
Many thanks !

Sure!
In fact, if you are interested, you can send me the text when you're done... I could do it in the same format as the English version... That would be pretty awesome. I've done work before where the design was in multiple languages, it's a fun challenge.

No worries.

Here's a preview of the condensed character sheet, using two of the characters from the playtest tweaked for convention play:
I figure that I'll have eight pregens in the book, and allow a maximum of six players. That would mean that even the last player to pick would have their choice of three characters.

Cool, thanks. I'm reasonably happy with how they turned out. Now I just need to make/adapt six more character or so.

Here's a couple more, I'm having a terrible time coming up with backstories... as a lifelong GM it's not my strong suit and the need to make it so that any combination of characters is viable. I am thinking 10 characters right now, two per Calling.
Note also the formatting has changed so that these pages can be printed loose and cut in half in order to be hand-outs.

10 sounds like a lot of work. How about 1 of each of the original cultures?

EDIT: This is too brief and harsh, I will try to explain better.
I'm worried that with a full table of con attendees, that the last guy to choose would be forced to take something (having only one character sheet to choose from). Having a few extras means that everyone can make it meaningful choice when selecting a pregen. It seemed like doing Callings with a variety of backgrounds would be best.
That logic, however, will not prevent me from complaining about it, at least a little.

Congratulations on the quality of this work, Zed. This would make a good transition adventure, too.
