WFRP conversion
Re: WFRP conversion
I'm very interested to see how this will turn out. So far none of the conversions of the TOR I've seen convinced me much, but perhaps this one will.

NPC cards done, so you can easily create your own NPCs and print them. Doesn't save if you only have reader though

I'll use it later to create the NPCs from 3rd edition monster cards.

Re: WFRP conversion
Very interesting. Did I miss your thoughts on common skills (TOR skills) vs skills (Warhammer skills)? What's the difference in how you handle them?
PS. You've done ALL of Warhammers careers, with individual corruption weaknesses etc? Do you have a day job? DS.

I work fast
Only basic careers have corruption weaknesses though.
But yeah individual everything. The only thing I have left to do is individual special ability ala wfrp3, but I wanted everything done first so I could see the bigger picture first.
TOR common skills are treated like characteristics sort of. When you make a check for a wfrp skill, you use a common skill as the value. There is a table that links each individual wfrp skill to a common skill. Some have more linked, because different uses and situations demand a different common skill (Performer can use song, inspire or athletics for instance and Trade uses different common skills depending on the trade). All written in the table and individual skill descriptions.

Seems like you're walking a long way for this game, hope your players appreciate it ...
My criticisms right now are more typographical than anything else: the lack of a ligature between the f and t in craftsmanship is bugging me and it looks like there are place where you are either missing a space or your word tracking is way off.

Jacob Rodgers, occasional nitwit.

You have to help me out a bit... Where do you see craftsmanship
Never mind I see it. Yeah it's the font I use, it's not perfect, but for the most part I like it.

Re: WFRP conversion
What program are you using? InDesign should have fixed that automatically for you, and even in Word you should be able to adjust the individual kerning in order to make it look better.JoeArcher wrote:You have to help me out a bit... Where do you see craftsmanship

Use publisher for this and word for some of the more simple stuff. I'm really an amateur when it comes to these things
