Adversary sheets
Adversary sheets
I ran my first ever session of ToR, and it went great! The only problem was, during combat I found myself paging between the various opponents' stats, the orcish weapon stats and the descriptions of the opponents' Hate-powered abilities. Plus I didn't have a good system for tallying their Endurance.
I've been playing games without hit points and stat blocks for almost ten years now and I seem to have lost my mojo. What's your system for keeping track of the opponents' abilities, Endurance and weapon stats? It would probably be a good idea to have some sort of a sheet made ready with the pertinent stats for opponents you will most likely encounter during the session. Then again that seems like it might be a lot of work (you'd need one for every session). Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Adversary sheets
I put the adversary stat blocks, their abilities and weapons on one sheet so it's all at hand. I pencil in damage in any spare spot although you could use a scrap piece of paper for that by labelling them Orc 1, Orc2 etc., and save the sheet for reuse if its a common adversary like goblins or spiders.
Some TOR Information on my G+ Drive.

Re: Adversary sheets
Someone from the forums made a sheet with space for 3 adversaries. Printed in both sides of a sheet, you have the stats for 6 adversaries. Maybe Rich H? Sorry, but I download the documents I want and don't keep a track of it's author. Shame on me...
And for worse, I only have the spanish version in my harddrive. I'll link it, so that you see if it's what you'd need, but the search for the original english version continues...

Re: Adversary sheets
I find it difficult to remember what each special ability does just from its name. As is done in the Doctor Who game, I like to put a summary of the special ability after its name. For instance:
Great Orc
Attribute Level: 7
Endurance: 48
Hate: 8
Parry: 5 + 2 (shield)
Armor: 4d
SKILLS
Personality: 3
Movement: 2
Perception: 3
Survival: 2
Custom: 2
Vocation: 3
WEAPON SKILLS
Heavy scimitar: 3 (Dmg 7; Edg 10; Inj 14; Brk Shld; 2h)
Broad-headed spear: 3 (Dmg 5; Edg 10; Inj 12; Prce)
Orc-axe: 2 (Dmg 5; Edg Eye; Inj 16; Brk Shld)
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Horrible Strength - 1 Hate to increase Dmg 7 (Att) pts.
Hideous Toughness - 1 Hate to avoid 7 (Att) pts Dmg.
Commanding Voice - 1 Hate to give 1 Hate to other orcs.
Great Size - 0 End or 1 Wound = Weary; 2 Wounds or 0 End + 1 Wound = killed

Re: Adversary sheets
I made up some simple Adversary sheets and posted some awhile back (old forums). When I get home I'll put them up again (not sure if they're the ones already shown here, as I can't bring those up here at work).

Re: Adversary sheets
Here's a few that I've made. Note that these aren't fancy or anything; I've kept them pretty simple (and printer-friendly):
Attercops
Goblin Archers
Orc Soldiers
Stone Troll

Goblin Archers
Orc Soldiers
Stone Troll

Re: Adversary sheets
@Majestic: when I saw you had several on each sheet, I wondered how many Stone Trolls you threw at your group at a time... relieved it was only one.

Re: Adversary sheets
LOL!
Yeah, the reason that I put multiple on each sheet (for the other adversaries) is it just makes it easier to track things (less clutter at the table). You'll also note there's a spot on the left where you can write in which PC is skirmishing with that enemy.

Re: Adversary sheets
I made some NPC sheets for my wfrp conversion. You can check those out in the thread
