Here's the latest thing I'd love to see: rules for Sindarin elves from Mirkwood. Perhaps just a modification of Elves of Mirkwood, rather than a whole new culture.

One thing I've been curious about: the elves in Mirkwood, what kind are they? Are they all Sindari, are some of them Noldor?

Also, what kind of languages would a Ranger of the North know in the game?

I'm not sure that Professor Tolkien was completely clear and consistant. However, the population of the Woodland Realm consists mostly of Wood-elves ruled by a Sindar minority. These Wood-elves (or Silvan Elves) were originally all Nandor (I think), but in time some Avari from the East might have joined them. I'm reasonably sure that the population make-up of Lothlórien is fairly similar (though Galadriel, at least, is Noldo).

All Rangers of the North should know both Westron and Sindarin. They would probably also be familiar with local Mannish dialects on a case-by-case basis and some would doubtless know at least a little Quenya.

I might be a bit confused... Pg. 118 tells me that they know Westron and Sindarin. I wouldn't object to a particular Dúnadan knowing Quenya or Rohirric, if their backstory made that make sense.

I recall reading (but might be from a secondary source somewhere) that the Galadhrim of Lórien were more a mix (i.e. interbreeding) of silvan and sinda elves. Probably there's also some kind of sinda nobility, not mixed with silvan blood (Celeborn and others). In Mirkwood it seems that Sinda are the rulers, and they keep their marriages apart from silvan, which form most of the population. Sinda and Silvan elves don't seem to get their blood mixed in Mirkwood.
Again, I don't have a trustful font for this, but it's how I play both settlements.
