Artificier of Eregion

Post by Glorelendil » Thu Sep 18, 2014 4:43 pm

From the Gushing Fanboy Department:

I love this virtue. It makes me want to play a High Elf of Rivendell. It feels like it nicely balances potency with difficulty; the fact that you might spend several (many?) FP's building up the Craft points is awesome.

Maybe there are Dwarves of Ered Luin who could have a similar skill, but for armor? +1/+2 to Protection (not dice, bonus as in helm), and then the enchanted quality could be...what? Damage absorption? I guess Armor is trickier because there's no Armor skill to cause a reset. But still...

And Elves of Lorien? I could see them being able to make some form of Wondrous Artefacts in jewelry form (rings, necklaces, brooches, etc.

More organic, I would feel: cloacks, ropes, boats,... AND LEMBAS!

Oh, I was thinking of the "Leaves of Lorien" that they each got. But, yeah, organic non-GMO fair trade high thread count cotton sounds up their alley, too.

"Leaves of Lorien" would be a great name for a bed & bath store here in Boulder, come to think of it. Until the ghost of Saul Zaentz haunted the place. Or his heir's lawyers.
