Rivendell book

Post by Amani » Fri Sep 19, 2014 7:01 pm

I just got my Core Book, but that's really just what I already had since I have the original set. Itching for something new. Any info on where in the process Rivendell is? Also Player Options and Ruins for that matter.

The new core book looks fantastic by the way!

Rivendell is due for the Fall, but you can buy the PDF here: http://www.rpgnow.com/product/132859/Th ... -Rivendell.
"What happens now?"
"Well, I guess there would be an awkward pause in the conversation."
"How long of a pause? Is it six seconds long?"
"Yeah, I'd imagine so."
"I fire another arrow!"

The Rivendell pre-order launched 22 July and based on previous lead times between pre-order and hc arrival I'd guess that Halloween is about when it should be arriving in stores with a pre-order landing on your doorstep a week earlier.

Thanks all. Yeah I guess my question is pertaining more to actual information on where in the production process these books are and when can we expect them in both print and pdf form. I have pre-ordered Rivendell and have read through some of it already on pdf, and while I do enjoy having access to pdfs I find this method tedious since I have no e-reader. I also simply prefer holding and smelling a book; I find it a much more enjoyable experience.

Also I may have occasion to begin a new campaign soon and I was hoping the pdf of Player's Options might be available for us making characters. I do love this game but the wait for new material can be painful.

"Good things..." and all that.

Thanks again!

I think the printing and distribution pricess has been between two to three months from the launch of the preorder. C7 preorder at the beginning of the print/distribution process and you get the PDF of the final version immediately.

It IS awesome to get the PDF now, and see exactly what is in the book, so you don't have to wait until it comes out to see it. But when I get a PDF the first thing I do is print it :) because I hate e-readers for stuff like this. Long live three ring binders!
