Re: Heart of the Wild available in PDF now
I just hope that waiting on the physical copy of HotW doesn't impact Darkening of the Mirkwood. I'd rather wait until next year to have the hard copy of either if I could get my hands on a pdf of both.

Re: Heart of the Wild available in PDF now
Since The Heart of the Wild is completed and we are just waiting for the book to print and ship, I don't think that there is an issue about any delay to the PDF of The Darkening of Mirkwood. What I am wondering about is what style of binding is being used on the The Heart of the Wild hardcover? I am hoping for a traditional sewn binding that is sturdy and allows the book to lie flat when open.doctheweasel wrote:I just hope that waiting on the physical copy of HotW doesn't impact Darkening of the Mirkwood. Woooot? It's released ?
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

This is indeed wonderful news. I spent months waiting, checking my mail daily, till I wearied of the delays. I'll start looking again

Shipping from the warehouse in Norcross, Georgia as we speak. Fulfillment of pre-orders, for the US seems to be be in process.farinal wrote:Woooot? It's released ?
@Jon,
My wife, who always has some opinion about art and literature offered an interesting comment about TOR I believe you might appreciate. She compared the illustrations in TOR (as she thumbed through The Heart of the Wild) to something you might see in a turn-of-the-century (the century before last that is) children's fairy-tale, like Constable's or Longmans' Alice or Fairy Books respectively.
Hmmmm...?
With best regards,
E

We can now happily confirm that Heart of the Wild exists, and is en route to pre-order customers in the US.
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of stock into the UK for preorders here and beyond.
Since we had been given so much conflicting information over the last 2 months we wanted to wait until we had hard evidence before saying anything else. Thank you for your patience.

That's probably the nicest thing anyone's ever said about our artwork. Thank you!Eluadin wrote: @Jon,
