10/08/2014 Comprehensive Book List for the Loremaster

Post by HotSnow50 » Thu Oct 09, 2014 3:10 am

Hello everybody!

I am fairly new (only had the core rulebook for a week) to TOR and am currently awaiting a set of dice as well as the Loremaster's Screen/Lakewood Guide to arrive from Amazon. I am looking at all the other books that are out there like the purchasable campaigns as well as some of the other texts and I am trying to figure out whether or not buying some of them (primarily looking at the "Over the Edge of the Wild" case with two books, dice set and 2 maps) would be duplicative and not assist me in assembling a nice collection of informational books to draw from.

I am not aiming at getting the bare minimum, as I am sure I could do well with just the dice set and the 2014 revision of the core rulebook that I own, currently. I was hoping you guys in the community could come up with a list of all the distinctive books that I could get that would augment my collection.

Thanks in advance!

The slipcase is the old version of the rules; the only advantages of having it would be the dice and maps.

Everything else (Tales from Wilderland, Heart of the Wild, Darkening of Mirkwood, and Rivendell) are all worth their cost.
Jacob Rodgers, occasional nitwit.

This space intentionally blank.
