Is there any reason why I couldn't, after several extraordinary tengwar rolls at, say, pivotal points in an adventure, take my weapon (in this case, a Woodland Bow) to Rivendell and request the elves to inscribe the story of my bow's deeds in runic form? Perhaps in this way giving credence to the bow having now attained some sort of fabled status?Majestic wrote:You might take a look at p. 135 of the Adventurer's Book, too, as it spells out that the player decides whether a Reward is an upgrade to an existing weapon, something newly discovered on a bow the character already had, or an entirely new weapon.
It even uses a Woodland Bow as one of the examples.
I know it takes time for a weapon to attain such a status... My character is an Elf so, I've got the time ;D
