How much XP....
...should you be awarded for saving a young Aragorn from near certain death? ("How certain?" you ask. The LM was trying to kill him. How much more certain can you get?)
By my reasoning, we sort of just defeated Sauron, albeit indirectly. (Because if we had not saved Aragorn, the war would be lost 80 years in the future.) That should be worth a metric assload of XP.

It is worth 1 XP for "If the Loremaster deems that the group has made substantial progress toward the achievement of their chosen company objective, each hero is awarded with 1 supplementary Experience point."Elfcrusher wrote:...should you be awarded for saving a young Aragorn from near certain death? Plus, Aragorn was just a distraction. Sam was the real hero.
Jacob Rodgers, occasional nitwit.

Re: How much XP....
Something that huge and significant, I'd probably give a bonus 3 XP or something.
Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
Re: How much XP....
Depends... what were you defending him from? If you fought off a group of hill trolls, 3 or so seems like a good idea. But if you prevented a blind, one-armed goblin from stabbing him in his cradle, maybe only 1.

Also Elf, I'm not that familiar with the metric system. What's the conversion ratio from metric assload to standard f**kton?

For some reason you just reminded me of this scene.

Loads. Oodles. A metric (or imperial) boatload. Especially to the brave High Elf who stopped all them Bog Soldiers.Elfcrusher wrote:...should you be awarded for saving a young Aragorn from near certain death? ("How certain?" you ask. Re: How much XP....
80 years in the future? Is your campaign set 2 or 3 years before the Quest of Erebor or are you just exaggerating a bit?
