How Long are your TOR Sessions?

We usually go from around 10/11 in the morning until anywhere between 4 and 7/8 in the afternoon. So averaging about 5 hours I guess. So far it's taken us between 1 and 2 sessions to do each adventure from Tales. The last one being Darkness in the Marshes which only took one session

Also 3.5 to 4 hours here.
We played Blood in the Waters in one session and The Marsh Bell also in just one session. The Fellowship Phases had to be played in the next session for both.

It works great for getting into the story...

You think your players had a tough time remembering the details, we had a break (right in the middle of The Marsh-Bell") of nearly two years! Fortunately, by me reading it over again a couple of times, and carefully going over all that had happened with my players, we were able to hop right back aboard the bike and finish it; it ended up being an excellent session even!

2.5-3.5 hours. Granted, we've only run 3 sessions so far and none of the seven of us have any substantial experience roleplaying... (We still aren't through the Marsh Bell, haha. Hope to get done with that this week.)

Nothing wrong with that, mirkwoodfalcon. As long as you're having fun, you'll find that you all (GM and players) learn more and pick up the game more with each session. Beauty of a game like this is that the deeper you delve, the more nuance and richness you'll find in the mechanics.

I wish we could have sessions as long as you do, but we only occasionally do (they're the exception rather than the rule).

We play one saturday a month, start early afternoon with coffee, cake and chatting, then play till break for dinner and then resume playing till around midnight, sometimes a little longer.
