Hi Heilemann, since you were so kind ot share your modified version of the Battlemat, would it be too much to ask you to upload the Travelmat too.

Also on a completly unrelated note, does anyone know if it's possible to print these on a vinyl board without having to leave a kidney behind?

Thanks.

Print on heavy paper or card and run the result through a laminator. I found that worked well for a copy of the map.

You've got quite the beautiful website, Heilemann!
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

If you're using any of these components (or all for that matter), I'd love to hear your feedback. What's working, what's not? What could be better? What's saved your life?

For my own part, token-to-token combat has saved me a lot of worrying about target numbers and looking up weapon stats. I bemoan slightly that having the same token for a number of orcs make them seem like the mooks they are, but for now I'm alright with that, although I have thought about simply replacing the adversary tokens with more abstract ones so as to aid the players' imaginations.

Update: If you're using this setup, you should update the npc_vs_pc_defense macro, as I've just (red-eared) noticed that it didn't take into account Head Gear. Don't tell my players (then on the other hand, I noticed that they were using buckler and shield bonuses with two-handed weapons, so at some level it cancels out my snafu).

I wish Roll20 had a way for me to automate updates.

Firstly, thank you so much for documenting and sharing your setup. This is awesome!

I seem to be having a problem setting up the API scripts. I keep generating an error, then I can't seem to get rid of the offending script (clicking the delete button doesn't work, and clearing out the code and saving doesn't either).

Here is a screenshot. There is a high probability this is user error. I have a mentor account, but have not worked with the API before.

Thanks for any advice you may have!

Brian
