Roll20 setup guide
Roll20 setup guide
I finally took some time to write out a guide on how to setup Roll20 with the various automation scripts and macros I'm using: https://ringen.squarespace.com/loremast ... or-roll-20.
Let me know if there are any questions, or if I missed anything.

Looks good. I haven't checked the wiki over there but if you've done the same as your blog on the wiki that would be even better as that would provide wider exposure.

Very nice guide, I'm trying to get up to speed with Roll20, but so far I had little luck. Even worst I don't have the financial resources to get a Mentor Account ... suck to be Frugal ...

I run a perfectly good One Ring game on Roll20 without going for more than the basic free option. The macros you can add to the tokens works fine even if it's slightly less automated than the version produced by Heilemann.

Re: Roll20 setup guide
First, let me just say thank you for doing all this, I'm gearing up to run an online campaign in a month or two on Roll20 and this is exactly what I was looking for. I have two questions: Is there some trick to getting the Battle Mat you are using to appear on the canvas? I've been dragging it onto my own page for about an hour now and it never seems to appear. Also, where can I find a link to the basic map you are using? Thanks again.

Fantastic; I'm happy that it finds some usegreysearcher wrote:First, let me just say thank you for doing all this, I'm gearing up to run an online campaign in a month or two on Roll20 and this is exactly what I was looking for.
I just did it (in Safari), and it worked fine. When you drop the image on the canvas, do you get a 'uploading' dialog? Which browser are you using?I have two questions: Is there some trick to getting the Battle Mat you are using to appear on the canvas? Re: Roll20 setup guide
PS: I bundled the Roll20 TOR theme into a Safari Extension by the way, if anyone is interested.

Hi! Trying to set this up... Thanks a LOT for doing this! I'm computer illiterate, but I seem to be stumbling thru it.
Thanks a lot!
