Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
A pair of supplements set to the East of Mirkwood. One would be a gazetteer of Dale and Rhovanion while the second would be a campaign based on the rebirth of the Kingdom of Dale.
Then down to the Fords of Isen and a sourcebook featuring Rohan, Dunland, Isengard and Fangorn.

Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
Hmm. We wonders why would you hope they publish a source book for the area to the east of Mirkwood?
Actually, all the kidding aside Halbarad, you ought to submit your Horsefolk to them for possible publication.

I laughed when I read thisgorgonshead wrote:...I think I would pee my pants...
Yes, the combination would be a great book, in fact, any source book on Dwarves has my vote.
Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
I too would like more Dwarven source material however I would also like Gondor to be split into two books one for Gondor proper and a second for the fiefdoms. Also in the Bree book I want the option to play both a man of Bree and a Bree hobbit.
Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
I would like to see a book detailing the area around Erebor and Dale and east to the Iron Hills. That is, the areas in Wilderland not covered by Heart of the Wild.
Also, a book on Moria, Lorien and the Dimrill Dale would be excellent. I think these areas has a lot of stories to tell.

@Mim
How's things mate? Good to see you are still around.
Other Minds should be out soon and the Horsefolk will finally see the light of day. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out in the end. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

It's good to catch-up with you as well Halbarad.
Yes, I still linger about, causing mischief like a Ruffian from Bree
That's great news about your publishing that article in OM. You've put a great deal of work into them & the culture should help a lot of us when we develop our adventures. Tolwen also does a bang-up job on the pub & I'm looking forward to the issue.

Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
I must say I am a lot more looking forward to East of the Misty Mountains rather than West apart from Rivendell and the surrounding area.
Lothlorien and Lonely Mountain sourcebooks would have been great.

Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
Here is one that came up on another thread: A general sourcebook for the creatures of Middle-earth. It should include both monsters (living and undead) and normal animals that could be a hinderance or challenge for Adventurers. Perhaps an appendix could cover plants, herbs and fungi as well.
"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
Re: Future Supplement and sourcebook ideas?
I assume we are talking about a book similar to Lake-town: about 35 pages, notable Loremaster characters, a map, new Undertakings, some new rules, and a new Culture.
My wish list:
1. Rivendell (TBD)
a. NPCs: Elrond, Arwen, Glorfindel, Aragorn
b. New rules: magic artifacts.
c. New Cultures: Elves of Rivendell, Rangers of the North
2. The Dale Lands
a. NPCs: King Bard, King Dain
b. New Culture: Dwarves of the Iron Hills
3. Lorien (which honestly should have been included in the Heart of the Wild)
a. NPCs: Galadriel, Celeborn
b. New rules: Rings of Power
c. New Culture: Elves of Lorien
4. Rohan (covering the Riddermark, Fangorn, Dunland, and Isengard)
a. NPCs: King Thengol
b. New Rules: Horses expanded
c. New Culture: Men of Rohan, Dunlandings
5. Bree (covering Bree-land, and the Forsaken Inn)
a. NPCs: Innkeeper Butterbur
b. New Culture: Men of Bree, Hobbits of Bree
6. Eriador between the Misty Mountains and the Blue Mountains, from Forochel south to the Gwathlo.(covering all of Eriador, except what is covered in Rivendell, Bree, and The Shire)
