Among four awesome books that I received for Christmas, I got the amazing new Rulebook. I had no idea there was a bunch of new beautiful art in it as well!
One question I do have is that I don't see the part in there about the Lore Attribute bonus a character can get (for free) when they know a particular region. In fact, the whole 'Planning Ahead' segment doesn't seem to be in the Journey rules anymore (though this rule is referenced, for example, in Tales from Wilderland).
Did this rule get removed? Or is it just somewhere else (or did I miss it)?
Thanks in advance. Overall this book looks really impressive. Congrats to James and Rich and others who got their names (deservedly) in it for all of your good work on improving things!
Lore Attribute Bonus for Journeys in new Rulebook?

Re: Lore Attribute Bonus for Journeys in new Rulebook?
The Planning Ahead has been substituted for the Preliminary Rolls, which in the case of Journeys is still based on Lore.
Re: Lore Attribute Bonus for Journeys in new Rulebook?
And it's worth considering that invoking a Trait on that preliminary roll will net you one bonus die for use on the Fatigue tests.

Re: Lore Attribute Bonus for Journeys in new Rulebook?
Thanks, Fal and zed. I wasn't sure about that, as I'd been (until now) using a combination of the old rules and the Clarification document. That's why I immediately into this, as I wasn't sure how those two interacted (whether they worked together or whether the Preliminary Rolls replaced it).
