Official clarifications on some rulings

Here are a few rules that seem to be causing some confusion and I'd like to ask for official clarifications.

I'd like to keep this thread fairly clean and uncluttered so please don't respond unless you can give an official answer (or point to an official ruling previously given).

1. Specifically what does Denizen of the Dark affect?
I've asked this to a couple of C7 guys offhand before and been given differing answers so it would be nice to get a final word on this. As written it's open to interpretations. Does the doubling of attribute just affect rolls made by the monster or does it affect rolls made against the monster (such as the TN of Intimidate Foe).

2. How does Called Shot interact with an enchanted bow with the Biting Dart quality?

3. Can the Bowman of the Guild virtue of Men of Lake Town be used with a Called Shot to achieve a piercing blow from a normal success?

Thanks in advance!

A few rules answers to start the new year... :)

The ability affects only those rolls made by the creature.

The Called Shot rule is applied to both rolls required by the quality, as if they were separate attacks.

No. The rules for Called Shots require at least one "Tengwar" result to succeed (a 'natural' Tengwar result).

Cheers,

Francesco

I have to say, I really appreciate how the Cubicle7 staff monitor these forums and give us clarifications. Thank you to Francesco, Andrew, Jon, and all the others who have made such an amazing game.
